Regulation Asia announces the shortlisted firms in each category for the 9th Annual Awards for Excellence.

Regulation Asia has announced the shortlist for the 9th Annual Awards for Excellence, recognising organisations, teams and solution providers that have contributed to regulatory, risk, compliance and market infrastructure excellence across Asia-Pacific.

This year’s programme attracted more than 150 entries across 41 awards from banks, market infrastructures, technology providers, advisory firms, consultancies and industry associations operating across the region.

Submissions were assessed by an independent judging panel of senior industry practitioners against the criteria for each award, taking into account their relevance to the Asia-Pacific financial services industry and material developments during the twelve months to 30 June 2026.

The shortlist reflects the strength of submissions against the awards criteria and should not be read as a ranking. Only submissions assessed as Market Leading or above were shortlisted. Where fewer than three submissions in a category met that standard, no shortlist has been published.

Shortlisted firms are listed alphabetically within each category.

"This year’s submissions show how quickly regulatory, risk and compliance capabilities are evolving across Asia-Pacific," said Bradley Maclean, Co-founder at Regulation Asia. The strongest entries combined practical innovation with clear implementation, measurable impact and relevance to the region’s financial markets. Methodology

Regulation Asia’s research and editorial teams assessed submissions together with an external panel of 31 independent judges, comprising senior industry leaders, former regulators and academics.

Each submission was reviewed by at least three judges and scored against six weighted criteria: Innovation, Impact, Implementation, Efficiency, Collaboration and Market Relevance. In some cases, the editorial team also conducted interviews with shortlisted firms and sought clarification where needed to better understand the submission.

Shortlisted entrants now proceed to final review, with winners to be announced at the Regulation Asia Awards for Excellence dinner in Hong Kong on 5 November 2026.
